Gymna Ultrasound compact – Smart therapeutic ultrasound at hand

目的

Achievement

由於超聲波設備需符合MDR法規中的IP67防水標準。公司沒有現成的產品可供參考,我從零開始進行設計和測試。

首先,需要先選擇合適的膠水來配合ABS材料。過程中測試了多種膠水型號,確保其能夠有效黏合並達到防水要求。也與模具供應商反覆討論和修改結構設計,並通過試模確認模具射出後的產品符合圖面規範。

在生產階段,原本的人工點膠方法無法達到標準化要求,導致生產良率不穩定。為了解決這個問題,建議公司採購了點膠儀器,學習如何操作並編寫行程,隨後訓練產線人員進行標準化操作。此外,也修正了點膠步驟,從原本的一次點膠改為兩次。測試後發現,由於膠水尾段有太多零件需組裝,點膠溝槽處的紅尾環與電線結合處容易漏水。為了解決這個問題,我們將超聲波手把垂直放置,從頭部注入膠水,並配合膠水特性購置了烘箱,使膠水乾固時間縮短。經過這些調整後,防水功能終於通過了測試。

這個專案讓我從前期設計、與供應商溝通,到模具修改和後期製造協調,全面參與並解決了多個關鍵問題,這些經驗讓我受益匪淺。

DynamUS, a feature unique in the field of therapeutic ultrasound.
DynamUS is Gymna’s motion speed detection feature that guides you in your treatments. It helps you keep the right dynamic movement pace. This user-friendly patient safety function monitors the ultrasound head’s motion on the patient’s skin and warns if its pace is too slow or too fast.

The feedback is visible through the orange colored LED on the ultrasound head:

The anti-slip ultrasound head holder allows the ultrasound head of choice to be stored in a freestanding position. The holder is equipped with magnets to safely lock the ultrasound head.

The Gymna Ultrasound compact allows simultaneous connection of two ultrasound heads and you can easily switch between them. This saves time and diminishes cable wear and tear. Your patients and their pathologies determine the ultrasound head that is needed. The choice is yours.

The Gymna Ultrasound compact standard configuration contains a large-sized ultrasound head.
A small ultrasound head can be ordered as an option.
